Our client, a dealer of material handling equipment, is hiring a Sales Territory Manager for their Atlanta territory selling to new and existing customers. This role is primary focused on new business.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the sales of new, used, and rental equipment to customers in the territory.
  • Prospect new business within sales territory
  • Identify and develop rapport with companies to ensure purchasing
  • Work with team members and departments to resolve customer issues
  • Analyze sales territories to determine where product sales are needed and improve market share within sales territory
  • Work closely with Regional Sales Manager on territory management and account planning
  • Create and implement a prospective plan to develop sales opportunities
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience in a similar or related industry
  • Experience cold calling and building relationships by phone and email to generate new business
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to remain persistent and overcome customer objections
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • General understanding of the sales CRM system
  • High sense of urgency with the ability to multi-task
Compensation & Benefits:  
  • Salary plus base, up for negotiation
