A client in Raleigh, NC is seeking an experienced Store Manager to join their growing team. This would be a full-time position in Raleigh with pay starting at $60k+ (based on experience). The ideal candidate will have previous management experience in a department store.
Responsibilities: The Store Manager is responsible for the complete operations, sales volume, and profitability of the total store. Provides leadership and supervision for the Assistant Manager and store personnel.

- Delegate through others. Set an example for the store.
- Communicate with employees, customers, and corporate officials
- Uphold company policies and procedures
- Allocate a monthly budget for department work schedules
- Process reports
- Recruit and hire new employees
- Implement training procedures to develop new employees
- Evaluate current employees
- Practice and teach customer service techniques
- Merchandise the sales floor
- Shop the competition/ keep abreast of fashion trends
- Work in conjunction with the Loss Prevention Department to monitor financial department, stockroom, dressing rooms, etc. for security concerns
- Promote the image of Hamrick’s by practicing good public relations
- Discipline of employees
- Daily accountability of sales performance
- Personnel motivation and team building
- Other duties as assigned by management
- Business related or Fashion Merchandising degree and 3+ years of retail management preferred.
- Organization and time management skills are required.
- Must be comfortable with vigorous amounts of bending, standing, and lifting.
