In this role, you’ll oversee the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of accounting. You’ll play a key role in reconciling general ledger accounts, preparing financial statements, and generating essential reports that support business decisions. You’ll also manage payroll, calculate commissions, and ensure all freight charges are accurate and resolved with carriers. As an ISO Internal Auditor, you’ll help ensure compliance with financial reporting, payroll, and freight management.
Additionally, you’ll be able to contribute to special projects, assist with 1099 and NAFTA preparation, and provide backup for key financial processes like accounts receivable and accounts payable. Your work will be critical to maintaining smooth operations across various departments.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a wholesale distribution environment. You’ll need strong skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems (EPICOR is a plus). Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with team members across all levels will set you up for success in this role.
