Our industrial client in Greenville is hiring a Sales Support Specialist to join their small, but mighty office team! Previous experience supporting a sales team or in account management is a plus but not required. Seeking someone eager to learn with great organizational and communication skills!

This is a Direct Hire position with benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate daily with customers and vendors via phone and email to address inquiries, provide updates, and ensure efficient service.
  • Organize and maintain accurate records of customer details and contact information.
  • Provide timely and competitive rates to customers and negotiate rates with vendors as needed.
  • Retain existing business by following up with clients on service satisfaction and ongoing needs.
  • Assist sales representatives with order management, including creating dropship sales orders and tracking shipments.
  • Enter and process sales and purchase orders, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and coordination with inventory.
  • Coordinate with the inventory manager on product availability issues and resolve any stock-related concerns.
  • Collaborate with the sales support manager and director of operations on administrative tasks and process returns as necessary.
  • Provide weekly updates to the Sales Team and accurate information to support decision-making and customer service efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Previous sales support or account management experience is a plus
  • Previous administrative experience
  • SalesForce experience is a plus
  • Sharp organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Compensation: $50,000-55,000 with benefits

Schedule: On-site, Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm
