Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced general manager with a background in drive-thru management. The right candidate will be bilingual in Spanish, have ability to work 50-60 hours a week, including day shifts, evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Description:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant and drive-thru, especially during opening, rush-hour, and closing
- Oversee staff hiring, training, and development to ensure adequate coverage and performance
- Create schedules for staff to reduce labor costs while still maintaining great customer service and hitting sales goals
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
- Develop and manage budgets to control labor costs, food costs, other costs, and to maximize profitability
- Stay on top of P&Ls and handle forecasting
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and reduce waste
- Work with suppliers and vendors in order to help lower costs and get issues handled effectively
- Monitor and maintain quality control measures
- Implement and uphold health and safety regulations as well as local regulations regarding labor laws, etc.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive business growth
- Establish short and long-term goals for the restaurant and staff as well as plans to achieve those goals
- Keep abreast of mark trends to identify opportunities
- Foster a healthy team with continuous opportunity for development and camaraderie
- Address and resolve both staff and customer conflicts effectively
- Help with taking, preparing, and serving orders as needed
- Open and close for shifts as needed
Compensation & Benefits:
- Up to $65k/year in salary
- Up to an ADDITIONAL $65k/year in bonuses for a total yearly comp opportunity of $130k/year (see more below)
- Monthly healthcare stipend
- 10 days PTO + 5 days of sick time
Bonus details:
This person will have a salary of $50k-$65k/year AND is qualified for performance bonuses that would equal a maximum ADDITIONAL amount of $65k/year (so $130k/year in total compensation opportunity). To receive this bonus:
- Company must first reach yearly goal in gross store sales (this is the fourth location for this business that is being opened, and it is in a very high traffic area, so they are projected to pass their yearly goal in sales in the first year)
- AND labor costs and food costs must be kept under 30% each
