Duties
- Develop and manage a book of business, focusing on Property & Casualty insurance products
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and market research
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and retention
- Collaborate with underwriters and carriers to negotiate terms and coverage for clients
- Provide expert advice to clients on risk management and insurance solutions
- Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements
- Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics
- Able to work in your preferred territory
- Work remotely but come in once a month to the office in Charleston if needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Property & Casualty Producer
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license in South Carolina
- Strong knowledge of insurance products, underwriting processes, and industry regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools is a plus
- Able to work remotely from anywhere in SC
- Able to come into the Charleston office once a month if needed
Pay/Benefits
- $50-$65k/year base (negotiable) + commission to start
