Our client in North Charleston, SC is seeking a full-time Recruiter for a direct hire opportunity. This is a fully onsite opportunity. The Operations Field Recruiter will develop and implement a recruiting strategy to maintain a quality applicant pool and fill staffing objectives with qualified hires, improving retention and feeding career path/succession plan development.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains applicant pool by identifying sources, establishing rapport with sources, and conducting featured job fairs, group job fairs, and job postings, effectively utilizing social media tools within accepted parameters
  • Actively facilitates job fairs at stores or other facilities weekly
  • Communicates job duties, working conditions, pay, benefits, and career path opportunities to qualified applicants, promoting company brand to potential future share holders
  • Facilitates job inquiries and responses
  • Conducts screening process to include, application/assessment review, phone screen, formal interview and schedule management culture interview
  • Communicates employment offers and facilitates initial new hire/onboarding steps
  • Tracks, monitors, and provides recruiting metric data, ensuring Recruiter metric goals are met
  • Assists with recruiting and human resource-related administrative functions
  • Occasionally speaks in group settings and/or gives presentations to specific groups of applicants (colleges, schools, one-stops, job fairs, etc.)

 

Requirements:

  • 2-year degree and 1-2 years of staffing/recruiting experience required; 4-year degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of end-to-end recruitment lifecycle processes.
  • Current knowledge of regulatory agencies governing employment law. Knowledge of standard Human Resource practices and procedures.
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft office and in-depth knowledge of data mining and internet research.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating appropriate tact and professionalism with a wide range of individuals.

 

Compensation/Benefits:

  • $52,000-$60,000 annual salary, based on experience
