Responsibilities:
- Title and Survey Review: Conduct detailed reviews and analysis of title documents and surveys, identify potential issues, and prepare title objections and responses. Work closely with title companies, surveyors, and other related parties to resolve any discrepancies and ensure clear property titles.
- Transactional Support: Assist in all phases of commercial real estate transactions including due diligence, financing, and closing. Manage and coordinate organizational structuring and the preparation of related documents.
- Client and Deal Management: Handle multiple deals simultaneously, maintaining checklists, tracking critical deadlines, and ensuring smooth communication across all parties involved including clients, lenders, local government agencies, and internal teams.
- Document Preparation and Management: Draft and review legal documents such as corporate resolutions, loan documents, and other financial documentation. Maintain comprehensive records of client and transaction-related documents in our case management systems.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a paralegal, specifically in commercial real estate with a focus on title and survey matters
- Specialized experience in entity formation and real estate closings
- Bachelor’s degree, Associate degree, or Paralegal Certification
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and document management programs such as Net Documents and Collaborate.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Benefits/Compensation:
- Annual salary of $75,000 – $120,000, based on experience
