A law firm based in the Carolinas is seeking an Attorney in Mount Pleasant, SC. This is a great opportunity for a licensed attorney seeking a culture-driven and client-focused firm. Experience related to real estate, community associations, debt collection or foreclosure is preferred but not required.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Professionally represent clients at meetings, hearings and trials
  • Collaborate with a team of other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff
  • Conduct research using legislation, case law, and other legal authorities
  • Draft legal documents, including but not limited to pleadings, contracts, leases, deeds, etc.
  • Ensure client confidentiality
  • Report hours spent on each assignment
  • Pursue continuing education
 
Qualifications:
  • Accredited law degree
  • Licensed to practice law in South Carolina
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Capacity to perform under stress
  • Strong work ethic
 
Compensation & Benefits:
  • $70,000 – $100,000, based on experience
  • Vacation & holiday schedule
