We are seeking a Plant Controller for an innovative startup company in the manufacturing industry in Clayton, NC. This is a full time, permanent position with benefits. This role will oversee the financial aspects for the manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities: 
  • Prepare and present monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Develop and manage the annual budget and periodic forecasts
  • Implement and maintain effective cost control procedures
  • Oversee inventory accounting and valuation
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a financial management role
  • Previous experience in the manufacturing industry
  • Possesses strong Microsoft Office skills; Microsoft Dynamics experience, a plus  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
