The Outreach Manager performs responsibilities of public outreach and face to face marketing. The
primary objective of the position is to establish and improve relationships with constituencies statewide, including but not limited to colleges, high schools, students and parents.
Essential Functions
- Under the direct supervision of the Director of Marketing and Outreach, the Outreach Manager is responsible for offsite outreach and client relations to include coordinating the outreach efforts for high school visits including CACRAO college fairs to various high school sponsored events, financial aid fairs, and Parent/Financial Aid Nights in the state.
- Conducts required annual college visits as outreach efforts to eligible colleges in the State.
- Responsible for attending and presenting at schools to include entrance and exit counseling, financial aid nights and FAFSA literacy training.
- Will collaborate with the Director of Marketing and Outreach on the review and maintenance of the current web-based college planning tool as well as any future tool utilized for college planning, financial literacy, default prevention and other tools as necessary.
- Collaborates with and provides feedback to the Director of Marketing and Outreach on current marketing material as it relates to any outreach efforts, product promotion, and general company brand awareness and name recognition to include booth setup, brochure and handouts, and giveaways.
- This position will assist with daily loan processing duties. Duties will include outreach to new loan applicants, teacher loan forgiveness, and inbound phone duties.
- Travel and participation in various work-related conferences may also be required.

Education and Experience
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Experience as a guidance counselor, financial aid officer, or college admissions professional preferred.
