Our client is seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented Industrial Operations Manager to oversee and optimize operations at their Union location. This is an exciting opportunity for a leader with a strong background in operational management to drive efficiency, improve processes, and contribute to the success of a growing company.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Budget Support: Assist in the development and management of the yearly budget, ensuring financial objectives are met and resources are allocated effectively to support operational goals.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess operational processes and identify opportunities for improvement to maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall productivity.
  • Preventive Maintenance Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive preventive maintenance schedule to ensure optimal performance and minimize equipment downtime.
  • Project Management: Lead cross-functional projects from initiation to completion, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery while meeting quality standards.
  • Inventory & Logistics Control: Oversee inventory management, ensuring the timely delivery and daily tracking of inbound and outbound materials to meet operational demands.
  • Reporting & KPI Management: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational efficiency, report progress, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Vendor, Supplier, and Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and customers, ensuring a seamless flow of goods and services and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Production Planning Oversight: Supervise and refine the production planning process to ensure efficient resource utilization, meet production targets, and avoid delays.
  • Safety & Compliance Management: Oversee safety protocols and ensure full compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 3+ years in operations management in a similar role with a proven track record of driving operational excellence and leading teams to success.
  • College degree preferred
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, project management, and process optimization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, vendors, suppliers, and customers.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with operational software or ERP systems.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Salary: $80,000 per year, plus bonus opportunity
