Overview: 

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Major Account Manager to join a sales team that has set itself apart as #1 in the country. Members of this strong team have an average 15+ year tenure. As a Major Account Manager, you will be responsible for targeting a list of named accounts and generating additional leads in the SoCal (San Diego) area for technical software and equipment sales.

 

Pay/Benefits:

  • Year 1 OTE $150k, year 2+ OTE $200-$300k/year with $48-63k/year base included in that

  • Will start off training in the office mostly but can be remote once settled in with onsite client visits throughout the week

Duties:

  • Conduct cold and warm calls to prospective clients and present products/services
  • Go to weekly client meetings (in-person at client location) within the assigned territory
  • Prospect and develop new business relationships with C-level executives within assigned territory
  • Meet or exceed sales targets on a regular basis both for sales quotas and revenue goals
  • Develop demos and proposals for customers in order to acquire new business and retain existing accounts
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project implementation
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management on client activity, prospects, and sales pipeline
  • Utilize CRM tool set daily
  • Develop demos, proposals, value add propositions, etc. for clients
  • Coordinate delivery and implementation of goods and services at customer locations

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in outside B2B sales on an enterprise level (technology preferred but not required)
  • Bachelors degree or related experience
  • Experience working with senior level decision makers
  • CRM experience
  • Able to train for the first few months out of the office more full-time before transitioning to a more remote position within the territory
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned territory multiple times a week
