Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role will involve being the first point of contact for clients, ensuring they receive exceptional service and support for all their insurance needs. Responsibilities include handling inquiries, managing claims, and providing policy information with accuracy and empathy.

Key Responsibilities:
Client Interaction:

  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and live chats from clients regarding policy details, coverage questions, and claims procedures.

  • Provide clear, accurate information about our insurance products and services.

Claims Processing:

  • Assist clients in filing claims, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected and processed efficiently.

  • Follow up on claim statuses and communicate updates to clients with empathy and clarity.

Policy Management:

  • Process policy changes, renewals, and cancellations as requested by clients.

  • Update client information in the database accurately and maintain confidentiality.

Problem Resolution:

  • Identify and resolve issues or complaints in a professional manner, escalating when necessary to higher management.

Sales Support:

  • Identify opportunities to offer additional insurance products that meet clients’ needs, supporting sales efforts without aggressive selling.

Record Keeping:

  • Maintain meticulous records of all client interactions and transactions in the CRM system.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in business or insurance is a plus.

  • 1-3 years of experience in customer service, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to handle complaints and difficult situations with tact.

  • Proficiency with office software and CRM systems; experience with insurance-specific software is advantageous.

  • Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
