Overview:
A fastener company is looking for someone with automotive fastener sales experience who wants to join their company in Greer, SC. This is a direct hire position with Monday-Friday hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Pay/Benefits:

  • $65k- $75k

Responsibilities:

  • Grow sales with existing and prospective customers by providing engineering support as well as commercial and logistical solutions
  • Interface with customer’s design/product engineering group in the development of new projects
  • Generate RFQ opportunities and tracking the quoting process
  • Coordinate program launches and engineering changes

Requirements:

  • Several years of experience in selling fasteners to the automotive industry
  • Technical know-how in metric and inch fasteners is a must have
  • Solid experience in handling automotive accounts
  • Ability to read prints, from basic to complex
  • Good computer skills (MS office products, MRP software, etc.)
  • Familiar with Public Standards – ISO, DIN, ASME, SAE, etc.
  • Proven sales experience within the Automotive OEM market
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to take on responsibility to make decisions
  • Excellent analytical, planning and time management skills
  • Ability to organize the day and follow up on open topics independently depending on their priority to ensure success
  • Motivated to go the extra-mile to make the customer happy, while keeping the goals of the company in mind

  • Fine with working in office when not out meeting with clients in-person
