Wonderful direct hire opportunity with a stable manufacturing organization in the Upstate of South Carolina. This position is 100% onsite.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Manage recruitment efforts and onboarding for new hires across various employee categories.
  • Advise supervisors on employee performance, providing guidance on corrective actions and conflict resolution.
  • Facilitate employee benefits administration (e.g., insurance, disability, life insurance, EAP, and tuition reimbursement).Participate in safety committee activities and accident investigations.
  • Lead training initiatives to enhance employee skills and safety practices.
  • Oversee employee documentation, such as new hires, benefits, training, performance evaluations, and other records in compliance with company policies.
  • Represent the company in legal matters, including unemployment and workers’ compensation claims.
  • Administer workers’ compensation claims and work to minimize employee downtime.
  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and collaborate with payroll and accounting departments.
 
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years HR experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work 100% onsite Monday-Friday.
  • Experience recruiting for manufacturing and skilled positions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust within the organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact at all levels of the company.
