We are seeking an experienced Graphic Design Manager to lead our graphic design team and the management of the graphic design team’s project flow. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for creating compelling visual content that resonates with the internal and external customer. The design focus areas include print collateral, promotional materials, advertisements, tradeshow event displays, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of graphic designers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to foster professional growth. Generate weekly status reports for the creative team.
- Art Direction: Develop and implement design concepts and strategies that align with the company brand guidelines and marketing goals.
- Project Management: Act as working manager, delegating tasks and also overseeing multiple design projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure cohesive messaging and branding.
- Print Quoting and Purchasing: Establish relationships with approved vendors, manage the quoting process for variousprint jobs, execude orders and ensure quality and adherence to brand guidelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communication, Marketing or related field
- 5+ years of experience in graphic design, with at least 2 years in a management role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design work, particularly in branding and marketing materials.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and the ability to articulate design concepts to various team members.
