About the company: Established B2B marketing agency is seeking an experienced fractional CMO or marketing consultant to join their strategic partnership initiative. This position is ideal for an established fractional CMO who has a portfolio of clients and is looking for a trusted partner to handle the execution of their marketing strategies so they can focus on high-level strategy and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Acquisition: Source and manage your book of business, bringing your existing clients or acquiring new ones independently.
  • Strategic Development: Collaborate with clients to develop comprehensive marketing plans and strategies that align with their business goals.
  • Execution Oversight: Partner with the company to ensure the seamless execution of the developed marketing strategies. Our team will handle project management and execution, allowing you to focus on strategic leadership.
  • Industry Expertise: Leverage your knowledge in one or more of the following industries, including but not limited to: financial services, transportation, logistics, HVAC, manufacturing, medical labs, or SaaS.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring continuous value delivery and satisfaction.

Required Competencies:
  • Business Acumen: Deep understanding of business drivers, ROI, and the interplay between sales, marketing, and business development.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels, including board members, c-suite executives, and operational teams.
  • Relationship Skills: Proven experience in building and nurturing long-term relationships with clients and partners, supported by strong emotional intelligence (EQ).
  • Sales Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of direct and channel sales strategies, go-to-market processes, and the importance of sales and marketing alignment.
  • fCMO Experience: Currently serving as an fCMO or in a high-level marketing leadership role.
  • Marketing Expertise: Broad experience across traditional, digital, and innovative marketing tactics. Ability to develop strategic marketing plans and has previous experience managing marketing teams, both internal and external,
  • Networking: Active in industry-related networks, continuously growing and engaging through events, speaking engagements, and online platforms.
