Summary:
Our client, a non-profit in Anderson, is seeking a highly organized and professional individual to join their team permanently as a Food Service Coordinator. As a Food Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating overall operations of the kitchen and work closely with the Food Service Director. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to make an impact.
The hours are Monday through Friday, 7am to 3pm on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure quality nutritional menus for clients within SC guidelines
- Coordinate menu preparation timely and efficiently
- Instruct and assist in daily preparation and cooking of menu
- Intake all food deliveries and verify quantity against invoice
- Coordinate proper safety standards and cleaning procedures
- Assist at fundraising events
Skills:
- Experience in food service with knowledge of food health and safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Enjoy collaborating with people and possess a friendly personality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Compensation:
- $18/hour
