The company is a provider of Automated Storage and Retrieval Solutions using cutting edge robotic and conveyor technologies. Thier solutions are designed and customized to meet the needs of each individual site providing industry leading technologies. They deliver projects of the highest quality along with providing first class technical services. For many industry-leading providers, this combination has led to them becoming the “Automatic Partner of Choice”, ensuring high quality, speed, and reliability. Following recent successes in the US market, they are now looking to expand our installation and service department, specifically in the Southwest region of the USA.

The Role:
The primary role of this position will be an installation and service engineer. Installation and service engineers are critical to customer care and support programs. Thier service engineers are on the front line, interfacing daily with our clients, and making sure their solutions are running and ensuring optimal performance. They perform all customer support duties and responsibilities including:
  • Installation & Commissioning of systems
  • Warranty, Preventative and Corrective service, and maintenance
  • On-call, Remote & Emergency service
  • Operator and Customer-maintenance training
  • Promotion of company products and services and assist with Customer Service efforts to ensure Customer Satisfactions levels.
  • Maintain accountability/inventory of assigned spare parts and customer consignment inventories when inventories are contractually maintained by the company.
  • Assist all customers with part orders, consumables, repair and return of defective parts and request information pertaining to their system.
  • Ensure that required administrative paperwork, service part orders, expense reports and downtime reports are properly filled out and processed in a timely manner.
  • Attend required training programs to keep current on system updates.
  • Exercise the correct care and accountability of all assigned company property, be mindful in financial expenditure and using resources responsibly; exercise the correct care and responsibilities when working with customers property and/or facilities.
  • Always maintain a clean and professional appearance when working with customers. Adhere to and strictly enforce all company safety policies and procedures.
This primary role will be required in the USA but travelling to Europe and rest of the world will also be necessary.

You will initially be based working from home and ideally you should live in Southwest region of the USA. You will report to our Service Director based in UK.
