Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and construction details
- Modify existing plans and create new designs based on client specifications and project requirements
- Prepare and develop construction documents ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and regulations
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to translate concepts into precise technical drawings
- Incorporate feedback and revisions to ensure the accuracy and quality of drawings throughout the design and construction process
- Maintain comprehensive records of all drawings and revisions for accountability and accuracy
- Communicate effectively with the construction team to address any issues or questions related to the drawings
- Stay updated on industry trends, new CAD technologies, and best practices to enhance design efficiency and quality
- Identify and resolve design-related problems or discrepancies during the construction phase
- Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years of residential drafting experience
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite
- Preferred proficiency in CAD or Revit
Compensation & Benefits:
- $60,000 – $65,000
