Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing packaging team, fostering a collaborative and creative environment.
- Packaging Development: Oversee the design and development of packaging layouts and labels that align with brand standards and meet market demands.
- Project Management: Manage multiple packaging projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales and merchandising to ensure correct packaging and specifications for all brands.
- Process Improvement: Work to implement new procedures and processes to support the packaging department with efficiencies.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) for creating and editing packaging designs and layouts, along with working in the Microsoft office suite.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 of experience in packaging design and development or product development, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a passion for innovation.
