We are seeking a professional AR/Deduction Specialist to join a growing team in Columbia, SC. This is a full time, permanent/direct hire position with full benefits. The ideal candidate will have prior deductions expereince.

Job Description:

  • Review and analyze customer deductions to determine validity
  • Investigate and resolve deduction issues
  • Process, track, and record all deductions in the system
  • Reconcile deduction balances
  • Prepare reports on deduction trends, discrepancies, and resolutions
  • Resolve issues related to pricing discrepancies, contracts, and promotions
  • Develop and implement processes to improve the efficiency and accuracy of deduction management
  • Monitor and ensure collections of outstanding deductions
  • Maintain accurate records for audit purposes and assist with financial reporting during month-end and year-end close processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration OR 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Deductions or AR experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups)

Hours:

  • Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm)

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $45,000 – $60,000
