This position is a direct hire position with regular business hours on-site.
Position Overview:
- Respond to phone calls and emails to meet the needs of customers and vendors.
- Build strong, consultative relationships with clients, identifying their requirements and efficiently converting opportunities into quotes and sales.
- Process sales orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Manage purchase orders alongside sales orders for seamless order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with the Outside Sales team to follow up on leads, address customer inquiries, and support project management.
- Work with vendors to ensure timely receipt of quotes.
- Negotiate pricing and lead times with vendors to establish competitive sales quotes for customers.
- Actively seek alternative supply sources to reduce costs and improve lead times.
- Proven experience in customer service and quoting.
- High school diploma required (college degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in customer service or sales.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Experience with QuickBooks is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and consistently dependable.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $45,000-55,000
