We are seeking a professional Credentialing Specialist to join a growing team in Liberty, SC. This is a full time, temporary to hire opportunity. The idea candidate will be very detailed oriented and will have 5+ years of experience in credentialing.

Job Description:

  • Facilitate pre-filling; send and receive accurate and complete credentialing information
  • Track and report progress and perform follow-up activities as needed until provider file is complete
  • Maintain accurate, complete, up-to-date records with current state license, DEA certificates, malpractice coverage and any other required credentialing and corporate documents (including contracts) for all providers
  • Validate, verify, enter and maintain all provider information in credentialing system
  • Track expirations for all provider credentialing documents to ensure timely renewal
  • Process and evaluate applications for initial appointment and reappointment of privileges in accordance with the corporate requirements
  • Ensure timely issue and reissue of COI through completion of the insurance application for all assigned providers

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 5 + years of relevant credentialing experience required
  • Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) preferred
  • Associates degree preferred

Hours:

  • Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm)
  • 100% onsite
  • Temporary to Hire

Pay:

  • $25 hourly
