Our client, an industry leader in healthcare services across the Southeast is hiring a Corporate Controller for their team. This role works directly with the Chief Financial Officer to report the monthly financial performance of operations as well as maintains all accounting records and manages the accounting team. Responsibilities:
- Lead month-end close process including reconciliation of general ledger accounts
- Assist leadership with annual budgeting and forecasting
- Provide financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Oversee all aspects of cost accounting, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Implement and maintain cost control measures to optimize operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
- Lead annual accounting audit and drive to fruition.
- Review & pay taxes in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams to optimize inventory levels.
- Establish and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets. Identify and address areas of financial risk.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License
- 7 years of public accounting and/or corporate experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare environment
- Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the organization
