Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative leadership for the financial health, planning and reporting of the organization including development and updates of a policies/procedures manual and an employee handbook
- Advise and assist leadership and treasurers on financial matters, maintaining appropriate awareness of financial status, needs, and potential issues to ensure that an accurate financial picture of the organization is presented
- Assist controller in timely and accurate financial reporting for the organization including preparation of monthly financial reports to be knowledgeable of factors driving outcomes
- Administer preparation of the annual budget, including forecasts for setting tuition rates, class sizes, early/late stay rates, operating expenses and salaries and benefits expenses
- Work to ensure appropriate use of resources and monitor revenues and expenses in relation to the annual budget
- Oversee 1099 process for vendors and the process for staff credit card use
- Provide the compliance aspects of human resources, payroll and benefits support to the staff including assistance in payroll processing, PTO tracking, and benefits administration
- Work with Buildings & Grounds staff to ensure upkeep and maintenance of building areas
- Work with IT services contract vendor and staff to provide oversight of IT functions of the preschool
- Assist Controller to prepare for annual audit
- Bachelors degree in accounting, business or related field
- 5 years of accounting or finance experience
- Experience in educational administration a plus
- Previous management or team oversight experience a plus

- $60,000 – $70,000/yr
