Our client in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a Communications Coordinator to manage internal and external business communications. Focus areas include content creation, brand management, website and social media strategy, internal engagement and communications, stakeholder communications, and public relations.
Hours are 8am to 5pm, Monday through Thursday. A hybrid schedule is offered including two remote + two onsite days.

Responsibilities:
- Create content for email campaigns, newsletters, presentations, press releases, etc.
- Disseminate content through various distribution channels
- Strategically improve employee engagement and collaboration
- Strengthen company reputation through web and social media presence
- Ensure quality control of all information released both internally and externally
- Collaborate with risk management, leadership, and customer service during time of public spotlight
- Coach all team members on communication norms
- Assist in the development of a mobile app
- Help prepare the annual communications budget
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 2+ years of professional experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Superb written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in social media & web management
Benefits & Compensation:
- $65,000 – $75,000
