We are seeking a skilled CNC CAD/Programmer with experience in sheet metal fabrication to join our team. This role requires proficiency in CAD software, particularly Solidworks, and hands-on experience in modeling, designing, and drafting for sheet metal applications. The ideal candidate will also have programming expertise with Trumpf or Amada lasers and punch press machines.
Key Responsibilities:
- CAD and Design: Create and modify CAD drawings and models using Solidworks or similar software. Design sheet metal components and assemblies according to project requirements.
- Programming: Develop CNC programs for Trumpf or Amada laser and punch press machines. Optimize programs for efficiency and accuracy in production.
- Sheet Metal Expertise: Apply knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques, including layout, bending, cutting, and welding processes.
- Project Management Support: Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Assist in estimating sheet metal assemblies and providing input on manufacturing feasibility.
- Proven experience in CAD/Solidworks modeling and design, specifically for sheet metal applications.
- Proficiency in programming CNC machines, specifically Trumpf or Amada lasers and punch press.
- Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes, including layout, bending, and assembly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in estimating sheet metal assemblies is preferred but not required.
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
