The Case Manager will be the main point of contact for clients throughout their case.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing the client’s files, to include client communication, gathering medical records, sending out letters to insurance companies & medical providers
  • Speaking with insurance carriers about a client’s case, making sure the client file stays on track to keep the file moving forward for the attorneys
  • Coordinate between attorneys, staff, and outside vendors to manage the law firm’s case load, present case summaries/updates, and ensure that deadlines are met
  • Organize and maintain all case files, and information concerning engagement, whether electronic or paper, in accordance with the law firm policies
  • Conduct legal research to obtain documentation regarding health insurance, social security, medical records, and medical providers
  • Draft legal documents for attorney review
  • Review legal documents to ensure adherence to all legal requirement

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
  • Previous receptionist or administrative experience, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a smaller team
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
