The Case Manager will be the main point of contact for clients throughout their case.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing the client’s files, to include client communication, gathering medical records, sending out letters to insurance companies & medical providers
- Speaking with insurance carriers about a client’s case, making sure the client file stays on track to keep the file moving forward for the attorneys
- Coordinate between attorneys, staff, and outside vendors to manage the law firm’s case load, present case summaries/updates, and ensure that deadlines are met
- Organize and maintain all case files, and information concerning engagement, whether electronic or paper, in accordance with the law firm policies
- Conduct legal research to obtain documentation regarding health insurance, social security, medical records, and medical providers
- Draft legal documents for attorney review
- Review legal documents to ensure adherence to all legal requirement
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
- Previous receptionist or administrative experience, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a smaller team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
