A civil engineering and land surveying company in Greenville, SC is seeking a CAD Drafter to create technical drawings and plans for civil engineering projects.
 
This is a direct hire, fully onsite position.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Create topographical and relief maps
  • Analyze areas for construction
  • Create reports on analyses
  • Convert sketches into digital documents
  • Produce planning documents
  • Coordinate with civil servants
  • Read and assess survey symbols
  • Identify potential design issues
  • Duplicate plans for record-keeping and for other project leaders
  • Explain project expectations to crews
 
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in a relevant field, such as design and drafting technology
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, ideally Civil 3D
  • Knowledge of engineering principles
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills
