Tom is FGP’s Vice President for Healthcare Executive Search, performing executive search, talent consulting, and leadership development in FGP’s Nashville, Tennessee office – home to some of the largest healthcare companies in the United States. Tom’s specialist search practice focuses on the recruitment of senior-level healthcare executives that bring a better approach to profitability, efficient workflow, and greater patient and employee satisfaction. He has led several operating divisions and brings more than 20 years of industry experience in conducting high level senior searches. Tom is a recipient of the FGP Great Person of the Year award, given annually to acknowledge the outstanding contributions of one individual.
Prior to joining FGP, Tom oversaw the executive talent acquisition department as Senior Director for Human Resources and Talent Acquisition for Community Health Systems Inc. Tom was responsible for executive recruitment and populating the management training program with top graduates from across the country.

Under and Alone. Incredible story about ATF Undercover Agent William Queen and how he brought down the notorious biker gang the Mongols. Love true stories about good versus evil!
What is your proudest accomplishment?
Awareness of what’s truly important in life – friendship. I took this for granted in the early days and didn’t understand what a true friend meant until I needed help, and it ended up saving my life.
If you could go back in time, what year would you travel to and why?
1983 when Star Wars – Return of the Jedi came out. I was only 12 but felt like I was on top of the world with a lightsaber.
