Mike Bays serves as an Executive Search Consultant focusing in the Technology sector. Having worked in IT recruiting for nearly 2 decades, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to FGP. His experience includes recruiting in all areas of IT and is focused on identifying executive-level IT talent. Mike’s success can be attributed to the strong bond he creates with both his candidates and clients, ensuring the best fit for all parties involved.

Prior to joining FGP, Mike spent 13 years as a Full Desk Recruiter in Greenville, where he grew his company’s IT division. He was a Human Resources Director with a computer hardware firm, where he was responsible for attracting top talent which resulted in tripling company revenue growth. Mike graduated from Clemson University with a B.S. in Management and a Master of Human Resources Development.

What is your favorite game or sport to watch or play?

I am a HUGE Clemson fan! I actually used to be the Tiger mascot for them in the mid-1990s!

What is your proudest accomplishment?

I am a 16-year, 3-time cancer survivor. I continue to advocate for dozens of local patients that are going through the same cancer that I beat.

Is there anything you wish would come back into fashion?

I think everyone would LOVE to see parachute pants come back! Dang, I love the 1990s!
