Reputable company close to Forest Acres area is seeking an Underwriting Assistant to add to their team! This is a support position that works closely with the underwriting team by providing service and policy documents to their retail insurance agency partners. The ideal employee has a Bachelors degree and previous customer service/office support background.
Delivering superior service to insurance agents by issuing and emailing policy documents, processing endorsements and cancellations as well as maintaining the policy file throughout the entirety of the policy.
Supporting the underwriting team by accurately inputting information and documents into our management system.
Responsible for quoting renewals on current expiring policies.
Binding quotes and providing policy documents to our retail agents.
Following up with agents on any necessary documents the company is waiting on.
Effectively convey and receive messages in by phone, email in a timely manner.
Opportunity to assist with social media/ marketing alongside various additional support tasks.
Training opportunities and potential for growth into other levels within our company.
