Find Great People (FGP) has been recognized as a Best Place to Work in South Carolina for the 11th time and 8th consecutive year, this year ranking #15 in the medium employer category. Best Places to Work is designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best employers in the state of South Carolina, benefiting the state’s economy, workforce, and businesses.

The survey was conducted after a challenging year when employee care and company culture was of the upmost importance. In addition to the survey’s focus on culture, community and inclusion, there was an added emphasis on process changes and adaptation as a result of the pandemic.

This recognition speaks to the culture at FGP and how as an organization they have continued to demonstrate a commitment to putting people first. After more than a year of working from home, bi-weekly company zoom calls and virtual events, FGP figured out how to operate with a hybrid workforce model that was beneficial to the business, stakeholders, and employees.

“We are honored to receive this recognition and proud of the culture we have created at FGP. Even through the circumstances of COVID, we have thrived, and continued our journey of company growth with a culture centered on gratitude. Great organizations are built by great people, starting with us. It’s in our name and it’s something we subscribe to,” said John Uprichard, CEO.

Over the last year, FGP worked hard to find creative solutions to instill a culture of engagement and inclusivity, despite workplace location. Care packages were sent, virtual and in-office workout sessions were held, and a cadence of communication was established. FGP’s annual Day of Development shifted to a virtual conference and annual awards took place via Zoom. As an organization, operations shifted to prioritize clients and candidates, but a holistic approach was also taken to continue focusing on the personal and professional development of employees. Building and maintaining culture is critical to the success of any company, and FGP’s intentionality is evident by more than a decade of recognition.
