A well-known law firm is seeking a Corporate Legal Practice Assistant in Charleston, SC. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of corporate legal experience and can multi-task, display initiative and produce an excellent work product. Ideal candidate has had exposure to transactional and corporate matters.
 
This is a direct hire, fully onsite position.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Provides administrative support to attorneys
  • Prepares legal documents and correspondence
  • Coordinates schedules, meetings, and travel
  • Organizes and files clients’ documents
  • Processes client bills and expense reimbursements
  • Formation of Corporations/LLCs
  • UCC Searches/Filings
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3+ years of related experience required
  • Corporate experience is strongly preferred
  • Applicable knowledge in setting up domestic and foreign corporations, partnerships, limited liability company laws, and required filings
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in platforms such as Microsoft Office, Westlaw, DocuSign, Dropbox, etc.
  • Dependable, proactive, and driven work ethic
  • Highly professional communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment
 
Compensation & Benefits:
  • $60,000 – $65,000, based on experience
