A well-known client in downtown Columbia is looking for a Temporary Program Coordinator to serves as the main point of contact for the office, coordinate the day-to-day functions, and provide Operational support includes event planning and logistics, presentation development, and marketing material coordination. The ideal candidate should be proactive and organized, with experience in project management and operational support.
 
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Coordinate and assist grant contract management process.
  • Engage with partners and organizations to execute and manage contract requirements, including but not limited to deliverable and timeline tracking, fund disbursement, and reporting.
  • Assist and coordinate grant disbursement requests
  • Track, record, and respond to questions
  • Progress reporting reminders and collection.
  • Event planning and logistics support for Innovation related workshops, webinars, and virtual forums or roundtable discussions.
  • Organize facets of event planning for statewide events, which includes managing communication and coordination with 3rd party providers (event staff, caterers, logistics, etc.) and participants.
  • Coordinate and manage event marketing materials for events with internal marketing/communications team.
  • Assist in preparation of PowerPoint presentations.
  • Assist and organize all promotional and marketing materials needed for the team’s exhibits at external conferences and events.
  • Record timely case notes in the customer relationship management platform (CRM) for all interactions with grantees, partners, companies, and founders.
 
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities are needed:
  • Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Attention to detail and follow through on tasks and duties
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
