OVERVIEW

A restoration company in the Anderson area is hiring someone with their P&C license to work closely with insurance companies who are covering client damages. Pay is $40-$50k/year depending on experience and the position is on site 5 days a week during normal business hours in Belton with minimal travel to client locations or meetings. This role will also entail some business development with the insurance company partners.

DESCRIPTION

  • Take calls from customers who are experiencing unexpected home emergencies, such as flooding, fires, or other damages
  • Listen to customers to quickly understand needs and dispatch services out accordingly
  • Visit with local businesses or go to local events in order to represent the company and collect leads
  • Speak with and coordinate mitigation teams so that customer damages are handled quickly and restoration services are provided accordingly
  • Schedule various teams for on-site services throughout the project
  • Speak with insurance companies to provide information on customer damages to ensure payment is covered and damages are fixed in a timely manner
  • Visit and partner with insurance companies to build referral business
  • Stay in touch with customers regarding damages, schedule, estimate, material selections and cost, and payment
  • Send out invoices or late payment notices/requests, and call customers to collect on late payments
  • Update information in Google Suite, MS Office, and project software
  • Handle on-call phone 1 week every 7 weeks (on average less than 5-7 calls a week)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • P&C license required (even without P&C experience)
  • P&C experience a big plus but not required
  • Empathetic and professional communicator (both written a verbal)
  • Extremely organized
  • Comfortable being on the phones much of the day
  • Comfortable talking in person to decision makers at companies
  • Comfortable building relationships with current partners and new potential partners in a sales-y way
  • Very tech savvy: think MS Word, Excel, Google Word, Google Sheets
  • Comfortable handling on-call phone 1 week every 7 weeks
  • Doesn’t cut corners; HIGH attention to detail
  • Able to pivot and put out fires without losing their cool
  • Associates Degree (a plus, not a must-have)
