Responsibilities:
- Manage recruitment efforts and onboarding for new hires across various employee categories.
- Advise supervisors on employee performance, providing guidance on corrective actions and conflict resolution.
- Facilitate employee benefits administration (e.g., insurance, disability, life insurance, EAP, and tuition reimbursement).Participate in safety committee activities and accident investigations.
- Lead training initiatives to enhance employee skills and safety practices.
- Oversee employee documentation, such as new hires, benefits, training, performance evaluations, and other records in compliance with company policies.
- Represent the company in legal matters, including unemployment and workers’ compensation claims.
- Administer workers’ compensation claims and work to minimize employee downtime.
- Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and collaborate with payroll and accounting departments.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years HR experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work 100% onsite Monday-Friday.
- Experience recruiting for manufacturing and skilled positions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust within the organization.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact at all levels of the company.
