James Figueroa

James serves as a Business Analyst at FGP. He is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of systems and data that are essential to business continuity and optimization. He is a subject matter expert for our applicant tracking system, and other related tools, focusing on their effective use to drive the organization forward. He also supports our leadership in making informed decisions by actively analyzing and reporting data in order to streamline processes and provide insight.

He has worked in various areas of operations including IT, HR, and data analytics for local businesses in the Greenville area. Most recently, he led production and sales efforts for a service company.

What do you love to do outside of work?

I love being outdoors and out in nature. Being able to spend a few days out in the elements without the comforts of modern life makes you really grateful for what we get to enjoy each day. The best part of a camping trip of course is the hot shower when you get back home!

What is your favorite sport to watch or play?

I’ve always been really into all kinds of sports, but soccer is the one for me that takes the cake. I have coached high school soccer for several years now and have found it to be a great passion of mine. There is great joy in being able to pour into the next generation and use team sports to teach valuable lessons that translate outside of the field and will hopefully follow these kids for life.

What is your favorite travel destination, or where would you like to go?

My wife and I went to Riviera Maya, Mexico for our honeymoon and it really captured our hearts. The scenery was amongst the most beautiful we’ve ever seen, the people were so friendly, and the food was outstanding. We’re already trying to plan our next trip back!
