Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee warehouse operations for a client in Rowesville, SC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, supervising staff, and ensuring efficient logistics processes. This role requires strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management systems to optimize productivity and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient order fulfillment and inventory management.
  • Supervise and train warehouse staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Manage inventory levels, including tracking stock movements and conducting regular audits.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse.
  • Coordinate logistics for incoming and outgoing freight, optimizing transportation routes.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems to monitor performance metrics and improve processes.
  • Implement strategies for profit loss management to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Operate forklifts and other equipment as needed, while ensuring proper maintenance of fleet vehicles.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align warehouse activities with overall business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and order fulfillment processes.
  • Familiarity with logistics operations, including freight handling and transportation coordination.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems is highly desirable.
  • Ability to operate forklifts; certification is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in managing daily operations.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and other departments.

Compensation:

Salary stating at $60,000/year+
