Job Overview:

We are hiring a Billing Coordinator for a well-established company in Downtown Columbia, SC. Our client is seeking a Billing coordinator to support the monthly review and auditing of reports. This is a full-time role and pays $18hr.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Prepare, review and document monthly reports, ensuring accurate data entry into the spreadsheet.
  • Ensure the Information System is updated
  • Review and report discrepancies, providing feedback to supervisors when necessary.
  • Audit debit adjustments submitted by the contractor to ensure accuracy and report errors for correction.
  • Conduct random audits cases for compliance with contract terms, reporting findings to the supervisor.
  • Monitor for compliance and report any missing or incomplete reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.

Qualifications:

  • Previous insurance or healthcare billing preferred
  • Previous administrative assistant experience or similar experience
