A well-known client in Downtown Columbia, SC is looking for a Collections Clerk to assist with the collection and recording of administrative fees to ensure timely and accurate reporting and collections. The ideal candidate would be someone with prior experience, who considers themselves to be detail oriented and reliable.

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist with contract reporting to ensure contract compliance through the use of email submissions, spreadsheet trackers, and data tables
  • Audit vendor contract usage reporting files
  • Work with procurement management to enforce compliance
  • Completes forensic research on solicitations, awards, and existing data
  • Conduct contract audits and other related items
  • Responsible for the control of delinquent accounts and pending late payment reminders
  • Provide other finance related and analytical support to the department as needed
  • Make follow-up telephone calls on delinquent accounts and maintain accurate records

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • 1+ years of collections or relevant experience
  • Strong computer skills
  • Experience with MS Office Suites

 

Hours:

  • Monday to Friday – 7.5 hours a day during standard business hours
  • Onsite
  • Long Term Temporary Assignment

 

Pay:

  • $18 -$20 hourly
