Job Overview
Our client in Belton, SC is seeking a skilled Lead Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform all water damage mitigation and restoration services the company offers. This is a permanent opportunity Mon – Friday with business hours. Overtime is offered as business needs allow.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively perform all water damage mitigation and restoration services the company offers
  • Communicate effectively with customers
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance
  • Perform & schedule basic vehicle maintenance
  • Inspect completed work for quality control and accurate scope
  • Complete technician’s daily log, audit daily logs for other techs
  • Complete Work Orders
  • Direct and audit restoration documentation for emergency services
  • Handle demolition items
  • Schedule and monitor the On-Call rotation for emergency services
  • Assist with hiring and managing Emergency Services Personnel
  • Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials and supplies for company vehicles
  • Maintain inventory of related supplies
  • Maintain organization at the shop and office
  • Be present at the office for all required department or companywide meetings

Work Conditions

  • The work of this position is predominantly carried out on the customer’s property.
  • Employee will encounter facilities where standing water and sewage are present, heat is unavailable due to lack of utilities, fire damage has occurred and mold or other organic growth exists.
  • Daily exposure to the shop where vehicles and equipment are housed and maintained is typical.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Adequate math skills. Ability to apply learned techniques to determine appropriate equipment type and number of units
  • Demonstrates basic proficiency in the use of computers, email, and portable devices used to report and record daily activity
  • Certification in performing appropriate services: Minimum requirement IICRC WRT. ASD, AMRT & FSRT additional are ideal.
