Our client, an architecture firm with offices throughout the Southeast, is seeking a highly professional Administrative Assistant to support their Charlotte office. This person will be the first point of contact for clients and guests, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative support tasks. This role requires a professional demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
This is an onsite, temporary to hire opportunity with a standard schedule of Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Duties
- Greet and welcome clients in a warm and professional manner
- Answer incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate personnel as necessary
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain an organized calendar for staff members.
- Coordinate incoming/outgoing mail
- Order studio supplies and support Studio Manager with travel/meeting coordination
- Light bookkeeping tasks
Skills
- 3+ years in a receptionist or administrative support role
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
- Basic experience in expense reporting
- Proven organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Compensation: $24-$28/hour depending on experience
