Job Summary:
Our client is Charlotte, NC is seeking a Service Dispatcher to assist for 3-6 months or longer while an employee is on medical leave. As a Service Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating the transportation and logistics of our service operations.
The ideal candidate will have some dispatching and clerical experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in handling customer inquiries and requests for service and installation.
- Ensuring technicians and installers are informed about their scheduled tasks.
- Communicating with technicians/installers daily to confirm their availability.
- Notifying customers 24 hours before technicians/installers arrive.
- Managing work orders from preparation to closure.
- Monitoring task progress and following up with technicians/installers as required.
- Scheduling preventive maintenance tasks and supporting other areas during idle time.
- Conducting customer satisfaction follow-ups within a week of service.
- Managing work tickets and invoicing.
- Reviewing equipment status and coordinating returns to customers.
- Supporting inventory control and fulfilling field parts requests.
Qualifications:
- Previous dispatching experience
- Organizational skills and technical capacity to multi-task
- Ability to interact and communicate professionally and effectively
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Proven record of reliability and responsibility
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm on-site
- Temporary assignment for 3-6 months but could be longer!
Compensation:
- $18-21/hour
