A financial institution in Columbia, SC is seeking a Benefits Generalist to manage retirement benefits. This ideal candidate is highly organized and compassionate, as you’ll be working with employees who are preparing for or in the midst of life transitions.
 
 This position is temp-to-hire with a hybrid, full-time schedule.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Provide retirement benefit plan information to employees and beneficiaries
  • Explain policies, procedures, and legal requirements
  • Conduct retirement and benefits-related calculations and analysis
  • Participate in benefit enrollment process
  • Process claims for retirees and active employees
  • Ensure retirement benefits plans comply with federal and state policies
 
Qualifications:
  • College degree
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Oracle experience preferred
  • 2+ years of experience administering retirement benefits
  • Strong math skills
 
Hourly Pay Rate: $25 – $35, based on experience
