Jared Matthews

IT Support Specialist

Jared serves as FGP’s IT Support Specialist and is based in our Greenville office. He is responsible for supporting all Internal FGP team members with any technical issues that they may have. Jared prioritizes helping the end user and fixing the root cause of issues, not merely the symptoms of a technology issue. He is passionate about serving others and works to provide the best service possible to each person he supports.

Jared is a recent graduate of Anderson University where he studied Cybersecurity and Mathematics. He also worked on an Incident Response team to conduct analyses on company environments compromised with ransomware, then cleaned and securely rebuilt the environments.

What is your favorite game or sport to watch or play?

I love watching the NBA and am a big fan of the Toronto Raptors. Additionally, I love playing basketball just as much as watching and I try to get to the court at least once a week.

What’s the last book you read and what did you think?

I find the thought of ancient Israel fascinating. I recently read The Unseen Realm by Dr. Michael Heiser. It was fascinating learning about how Israelites who lived 2000 years ago thought about the world and their part in it.

What kind of music are you into right now?

I have been listening to a lot of Pop-Punk music, a la A Day to Remember. It helps keep me energized and ready for whatever life throws at me!
