FGP Awarded Veteran Owned Certification

FGP is proud to announce they are officially recognized as a Veteran Owned Small Business. The Veteran-Owned Small Business certification process is completed through the Veterans First Contract Program via the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs.

“The process to become veteran owned is an extensive and in-depth process. We value our connection to the veteran community and knew this certification was important for us to attain,” said John Uprichard, CEO.

FGP’s CEO, John Uprichard, began his professional career serving as an Officer in the Navy. He spent his time in the military working on a submarine, an aircraft carrier, and serving overseas.

Moving forward, FGP is excited about furthering their relationships with veteran organizations to provide much needed time and resources to help veterans thrive in the community. As one of only 3,200 verified Veteran Owned Small Businesses in the country, FGP looks forward to building deeper connections with local and regional resources that support current military members and veterans.
